How about it? Silence for a month, and then BAM! Operation Iraqi Jam Part Eight. There is mystery. There are mountian scapes. There are examples of heartfelt bonding. And maybe your favorite band is mentioned! Who knows. Could be…Anyway, read it here!

Do you love inexpensive hand-screened t-shirts? Do you love paying for sweet comics that you’ve already read for free? Wonder if we’ve actually shaved lately? If the answer to any or all of these questions is, “Yes,” than you should get your ass to Wizard World Philly! It’s at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on May 30th thru June 1st, and it rocks. We’ll be there all weekend at Table 1814 in Artist Alley hawking our wares. We’re sharing a table with the dudes from Red Twilight Press, so it should be a party. Show up and say, “Hey.” Click here for more info.

We know. We can hardly believe it ourselves. And if you’re a die hard Trekkie, the plot takes a rather expected plot twist…Anyway, read Operation: Iraqi Jam Part Seven right here!

So, about a month and a half ago, we were at S.P.A.C.E. 2008 in Columbus, OH. It was a sweet time. We met tons of great people, and one of our books actually got a nomination for an award. Sweet, right? Even sweeter? There’s video of the whole thing. First part’s up top, and the second part’s right here:

And, as if YouTube fame wasn’t enough, some swell dudes from Indie Spinner Rack chatted with, (among other comic greats), Robert James about Skull Pen, Apple computers and the ladies. You can get the podcast right here.

And, uh, yeah. That’s it.

And only like, three weeks late this time…But seriously, read it here. There is a shadowy newcomer to the proceedings, and you’ll want to know who he is! For real.

So, your cheap ass didn’t by a copy at S.P.A.C.E. 2008, huh? Well, we forgive you. And we even give you more than for, because now you can read our newest short story masterpiece Black Gold Black Water for free online! It’s sorta like “Hills Like White Elephants,” but with a sweet Marshall Stack. Seriously. Anyway, check it out by clicking here!

The dude is serious. Stop reading this and read Operation: Iraqi Jam Part Five. You might not have noticed that it’s up, but it is. For real. Click Here!

WHAT! A week and a half late!? Who the hell do we think we are? Effin’ comic geniuses! After you read Operation: Iraqi Jam Part Four, you’ll think it’s so great you’ll wonder why it wasn’t later. Also, we’re going to try to get back on track with that whole every Monday thing, so look for Part Five on Saturday, April 5th and Part Six on Monday, April 7th. Seriously.

So, yeah, we here at in absentia press are now accepting donations. Click here to head over to the store and give a bit if you’re feeling giving. But don’t worry, you can still buy print comics if you want, and all of our comics will still be online and readable for free. We just thought that if you felt like helpin’ a brother out, we might as well give you the chance to, right?

And just so you know, we won’t waste your money. We actually have some good use type situations going on, not the least of which is the forensic recovery of our lost masterpiece Skull Pen Issue Two. No lie, the computer that had the book saved on it was burnt up in a fire, as were the backups. Now the only way to get the data back is to send our hard drive to a sweet airtight lab where dudes in white suits and masks tinker with magnets to get your info. The only problem is that it costs a whole $#!† ton of money. For real.

Anyway, feel free to give while the givin’ is good.
